Light Industrial Warehouse Associate
Job Description: Warehouse Associate- 6 month assignment with Temp-to-Perm possible at conclusion of assignment.
Work Hours: Monday through Friday-8:30 AM to 5:00 PM (with 1/2 hour unpaid lunch break).
Job Description: Check in freight that comes in (manually), put items away, pull orders using a sit-down forklift, stand-up (up to 20') or platform, but if someone does not like heights, they will get someone else to use the stand-up or platform machine. Loading trucks and going to on offsite location (candidate would ride with someone in a truck), and general housekeeping. Must be interested in learning all jobs as you will be cross trained. 95% of the work is completed indoors and 5% will be outdoors.
Qualifications:
A background in Warehouse operations, including shipping, receiving, delivery, and inventory is preferred.
Product knowledge or the ability to quickly learn it.
Forklift Operator experience is required.
Responsibilities:
Pull and prepare orders for shipment.
Receive, verify, stage and stock all incoming material.
Ensure warehouse is clean, organized, secure and safe at all times.
Job Types: Full-time, Temporary
Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
