Liability Administrator - (21770)
DESCRIPTION
Idaho National Laboratory is hiring a Liability Administrator to work in our Business Management department. Our team works a 9x80 schedule located out of our Idaho Falls EROB facility with every other Friday off.
This is a PART TIME 20-25 hours per week position.
Under the supervision of the liability accountant, you will help record environmental liabilities to ensure accurate representation on the Department of Energy’s financial statements
You will report to the Policy and Assurance Accounts Payable Manager.
Responsibilities Include:
- Process DOE-PAC payments and assist with monthly reconciliations. Other tasks may include supporting the annual environmental liability audit and updating or creating desktop procedures for Financial Operations.
- Support management and organization in the completion of administrative tasks. Assignments may include tracking deliverables, filing records, creating, and editing documents, coordinating task completion, data entry into computer systems, confirming data.
- Use software for functional area, to compile and produce reports, statistics, timelines, tables, graphs, correspondence, and presentations.
- May design processes to enhance workflow.
- Maintain filing systems of relevant hard copy records, protecting personal and private information. Types of records may include training, security, contracts, employment, personal health, safety, radiological, government, and human resources.
- Relay information to appropriate partners to help complete organizational and management deliverables.
- Ensure that needed materials (documents, reports, flyers, white papers, agendas) for management and organization are created and distributed to related team members.
- Communicate with organization’s internal and external customers providing quality customer service to meet organizational goals.
QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Requirements:
Level 1-HS Diploma
Level 2-HS Diploma and 2 years of relevant experience in Accounting Liabilities and Financial transactions

The pay range for this position is: Level NE1-Grade 310 ($17.21 -$26.67 per hour) / Level NE2-Grade 320 ($21.90 - $36.13 per hour). At Idaho National Laboratory compensation decisions are determined using factors such as education, relevant experience, and other credentials.
