Job Title: Lead Auditor - ISO Standards (Full-Time, US-Based) Location: United States, Nationwide travel required Overview: We are working with an accredited certification body in the United States seeking experienced Lead Auditors to join their team. This is a full-time position requiring travel to client sites across various regions within the United States. The role involves conducting comprehensive audits across several ISO standards, ensuring that clients meet industry and regulatory requirements while promoting continual improvement. Key Responsibilities:
Plan, execute, and document audits according to the relevant ISO standards, including ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, ISO 50001, IATF 16949, AS9100, and R2.
Conduct thorough audits at client sites, evaluating quality management systems, environmental management systems, occupational health and safety management systems, energy management systems, and other standards as assigned.
Provide actionable feedback and recommendations to clients to drive improvement and compliance.
Maintain accurate and timely audit records and reports in line with certification body requirements.
Ensure consistent application of certification standards and guidelines, upholding the integrity of the auditing process.
Qualifications:
Lead Auditor certification in one or more of the following standards: ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, ISO 50001, IATF 16949, AS9100, R2.
Minimum of 5 years of industry experience, with hands-on expertise in one or more of the following sectors: manufacturing, plastics, or metals.
Strong knowledge of regulatory and certification requirements within the specified standards.
Proven track record in conducting audits with a high degree of accuracy and objectivity.
Skills and Attributes:
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills for client interactions and team collaboration.
Strong organizational skills to manage multiple audits and deadlines effectively.
Attention to detail and ability to work independently in a client-facing role.
Additional Information: This position requires regular travel to client sites across the US.
