What does Brice Builders LLC do?
Brice Builders, LLC specializes in performing Sustainment, Restoration and Modernization (SRM) of Military and Medical Facilities, Vertical and Horizontal Construction for Telecom Facilities, Commercial and Institutional Facilities, and in support of Disaster Relief programs. We also perform assembly of modular or prefabricated commercial and institutional buildings.
What can you expect?
As a Laborer, will report to our job office in Anchorage and will be assigned to work on a temporary project for the DOT. This position will perform tasks involving physical labor including operating hand/power tools of all types: small mechanical hoists, surveying and measuring equipment, and a variety of other equipment and instruments.
How will you do it?
- Perform general manual labor including cleaning and preparing sites, digging trenches, setting braces to support the sides of excavations, erecting scaffolding, cleaning up rubble and debris, accepting, storing and moving material on job site, SWPPP, carpenter tender or helper, demolition, and other duties as assigned.
- Perform general manual labor to include use of hand tools and provide manual labor support for field activities.
- Supporting Subcontractors’ activities.
- Identify any hazards as observed for safety of personnel and equipment.
- Monitor job sites for hazards and maintain a safe working environment and reduce personal exposure and potential spreading of hazardous contaminants by removing material from the job site.
- Provide assistance to project manager, site superintendent, foreman, operator, carpenter or other laborer and support staff in the field.
- Work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

This job has no supervisory responsibilities.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
- Knowledge of machines and tools including their uses, repair and maintenance and practical applications.
- Demonstrated housekeeping skills with attention to detail on environmental hazardous to reduce personal exposure and potential spreading of hazardous contaminants.
- Ability to perform work accurately and thoroughly.
- Ability to adapt to change in the workplace.
- Ability to work on a secure military installation.
- Ability to pay attention to the minute details of a project or task.
- Ability to focus on a goal and obtain a pre-determined result.
- Ability to identify and correct conditions that affect employee safety.
- Ability to work in a team environment.
Who is Brice Builders looking for?
Minimum Qualifications:
- High School Graduate or equivalent required.
- Ability to access secure military installation.
- Ability to pass a drug and background screening.
Preferred Qualifications:
- OSHA 30-hour certification preferred.
- Forklift training certification preferred (or ability to obtain).
- Asbestos 8-hour awareness certification preferred.
