The Kitchen Lead works closely with the Kitchen Supervisor and/or Kitchen Manager to successfully produce consistent, safe, quality edibles. The Kitchen Lead is responsible for assisting the Kitchen Manager with navigating day to day operations of producing products infused with various Cannabis derived oils.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Prepares ingredients, workstations, and equipment for production, including performing regular checks and/or troubleshooting to ensure equipment is functioning correctly.

Maintains high-quality standards during shifts including frequent and regulated QA/QC of all products being prepped and produced, regarding weights, appearance of product, flavor profile, and additional items.

Achieves goals and objectives through a fair application of policies and procedures.

Maintains live counts on all infused edibles products.

Keeps track of non-medicated product and monitoring levels of raw materials.

Maintains correct sanitation for work areas, sanitation logs, checking for any possible health code violations and mitigating the risk of cross contamination.

Assists with the labeling and packaging of final products when necessary.

Records all work performed when creating recipes and produce final procedures for each recipe created.

Performs other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications

Must be able to communicate with GDF Team effectively and professionally.

Must perform under high pressure situations.

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle high stress situations

Available to work weekends and holidays as needed

Reliable transportation

Education & Experience Requirements

2 years of experience in kitchen or food services preferred.

Experience producing candies, chocolates, cookies, brownies, etc. preferred

Physical Requirements

Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.

The ability to respond quickly to sounds

The ability to move safely over uneven terrain or in confined spaces

The ability to see and respond to dangerous situations

The ability to wear personal protective gear correctly most of the day

The ability to sit or stand for up to 12 hours at a time

The ability to work in bright/hot/humid conditions

The ability to work in low light situations

Lifting, standing, sitting, walking, bending, reaching, push/pull, repetitive use of hands, grasping use of hands, visual activity
Exposure to limited hazardous chemicals
