King's Home Women's Shelter - House Manager/ Resource Specialist
King's Home, a Christ Centered ministry in Shelby and Jefferson County, has an immediate opening for House Manager/Resource Specialist, working with women in our Jefferson County Women’s Shelter. This position involves managing a women's shelter, helping to coordinate grocery shopping and cooking, transporting, distributing medications and other duties.
This position resides onsite and would have free room and board as long as employed in this position. You must only work this job, and you do not move out of the room on days off. Our benefit package includes Blue Cross and Blue Shield health, and dental insurance provided at no cost to the incumbent. Other benefits include vacation and personal time, short/long term disability paid for by the ministry, SIMPLE IRA for retirement after one year of employment.
This position can be set up Friday 4pm to Monday at 8am but would need to be discussed prior to hire.
Applicants must have at least high school diploma or GED, clear criminal record, clear driving record (no speeding tickets that are more than 15 miles over the speed limit), valid driver's license.
