Junior Marketing Automation Developer

Purpose:
Floor & Decor is looking for someone to plan, develop and implement automated marketing campaigns (including email, text/SMS and app push messaging) to drive strong business results for our digital communication programs. The Junior Marketing Automation Developer will be a knowledgeable user of Salesforce Marketing Cloud to build and execute programs from start to finish.

Responsibilities include audience segmentation, email template development, deployment, testing and optimization. The ideal candidate will have a background with fast-moving companies and have marketing automation experience with a passion for digital marketing through email and content. They are responsible for collaborating with our internal Lifecycle Marketing team (who develop the overall strategies and plans). This position will align closely with our IT team to ensure flawless execution of our programs to customers throughout their shopping journey at scale.

Minimum Eligibility Requirements:

1+ years of marketing automation experience with a proven track record in executing lifecycle marketing programs (email, text/SMS and push messaging) at the tactical level within SFMC
Ability to manage deadlines effectively to deliver campaigns on time
Ability to collaborate with internal stakeholders and agency partner to plan, prioritize and execute work
Able to work independently with a passion for creative problem solving and executing work under tight deadlines
Experience with list-based email production
Experience building automated email journeys preferred
Experience with SFMC required, Salesforce preferred
Understanding of HTML and CSS to code email templates preferred
Agency background or experience managing an agency preferred

Essential Job Functions:

Lead the execution of the email marketing + mobile (text/SMS, push) messaging program to drive revenue growth and channel effectiveness while maintaining a focus on customer experience, compliance and brand health
Utilize CRM and other 1st party customer data to identify opportunities for segmentation, personalization, and journey building within all communications
Assist in the development of automated marketing campaigns with the goal of nurturing them through the funnel to purchase
Assist in the creation of workflows and processes in support of strategies to concisely communicate approach and goals
Assist in the implementation of dynamic content within email creative to drive personalization at scale, including via tools such as a customer data platform (CDP), digital asset management system (DAM), and Salesforce Marketing Cloud
Analyze and report on program performance metrics (including open rates, click-through rates, conversion rates) and program revenue
Identify ways maximize benefits from existing tech stack and capabilities within Salesforce Marketing Cloud

Working Conditions (travel & environment)

Limited travel required including air and car travel.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to a warehouse environment and moving vehicles. The noise level in the work environment is typically quiet to moderate.

PHYSICAL/SENSORY REQUIREMENTS
Sedentary Work – Ability to exert 10 - 20 pounds of force occasionally, and/or negligible amount of force frequently to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects. Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time, but may involve walking or standing for brief periods of time.
