Jr Project Scheduler (Oracle Prime and Microsoft Project Specialist)

Overview
We are seeking Jr Project Schedulers with expertise in Oracle Prime and Microsoft Project (MSP) to join our team. The successful candidates will be responsible for creating, managing, and optimizing project schedules across various industries, ensuring timely project delivery and efficient resource allocation.
Key Responsibilities
1 Schedule Development and Management
◦ Create and maintain comprehensive project schedules using Oracle Prime and Microsoft Project
◦ Utilize advanced features such as Gantt charts, resource leveling, and critical path analysis
◦ Integrate project schedules with other project control areas (scope, cost, risk)
2 Stakeholder Collaboration and Communication
◦ Collaborate with project managers, team members, and stakeholders to gather schedule information
◦ Clearly communicate schedule updates and potential risks to all relevant parties
3 Progress Monitoring and Reporting
◦ Continuously monitor project progress and update schedules as needed
◦ Prepare regular status reports and conduct schedule reviews
4 Resource and Risk Management
◦ Work with resource managers to optimize allocation of personnel, equipment, and materials
◦ Identify potential schedule risks and develop mitigation strategies
5 Quality Assurance and Integration
◦ Ensure schedule alignment with project scope and objectives
◦ Integrate Oracle Prime with Primavera P6 for comprehensive project control
6 Training and Support
◦ Provide training and support on schedule-related processes and tools
◦ Assist team members with data exchange between Oracle Projects and Microsoft Project
Qualifications and Requirements
1 Education and Certifications
◦ Bachelor's degree in Project Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or related field
◦ PMI Scheduling Professional (PMI-SP) certification required; PMP certification preferred
2 Experience
◦ Minimum of 5 years of experience in project scheduling
◦ Proven experience with Oracle Prime and Microsoft Project, including advanced features and integrations
3 Technical Skills
◦ Advanced proficiency in Oracle Prime and Microsoft Project
◦ Experience with cloud-based project management solutions
◦ Familiarity with Monte Carlo risk simulations, lean scheduling, and contingency analysis
4 Soft Skills
◦ Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
◦ Excellent communication and organizational skills
◦ Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $55.00 - $60.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
