JOB DESCRIPTION
Position Summary
Learn and maintain plant operations. Inspect each truck that comes to unload water. Inspect and gauge tanks and pits. Change filters as needed. Fill out proper paperwork. Communicate with your foreman and injection mechanic on problems and ideas.

- Diagnose faults or malfunctions to determine required repairs.
- Clean, lubricate and perform other routine maintenance work on equipment.
- Examine parts for damage or excessive wear.
- Maintain clean work environment. Clean any spills or messes.
- Adjust and maintain industrial machinery
- Help mechanic repair pumps - replacing or repairing plungers, packing, cranks and crossheads.
- Ensure oil lubricators are working properly.
- Check tank levels and check wellhead and pump pressures. Work with pressures up to 2200 lbs.
- Check for leaks and report those that cannot be fixed by yourself. Report all leaks to your foreman and injection mechanic.
- Change filters and dispose of them properly.
- Inspect each truck. Trucks with more than 1/2” of oil cannot be unloaded.
- Learn the automation systems of each plant. Learn to diagnose problems and how to fix them.
- Fill out proper paperwork on truck loads. Time of arrival, time of departure, what location the load came from.
- Repair and replace damaged or worn parts.
- Employee may also be asked by supervisor or other management to perform tasks would be outside the parameters of duties or job functions, you will be expected to complete these job functions as well
