The IT Manager at HUB PR will be a highly skilled strategic leader for all technology projects and initiatives aimed at optimizing our systems. This role involves maximizing system efficiency with a strong sense of urgency, attention to detail, and a customer-oriented approach that are essential to meet our service standards. Understanding the insurance industry will complement the robust technical expertise and the ability to translate complex technical concepts into practical business solutions.
A day in the life…

Develop and execute the IT strategy aligned with the company's business objectives.

Identify opportunities to leverage technology to drive growth, improve efficiency, and enhance customer experience.

Collaborate with business leaders to understand and translate their needs into technology solutions.

Lead the implementation of new technologies and systems.

Collaborate with corporate initiatives to implement HUB IT tools.

Develop and execute change management strategies to ensure successful adoption of new service management practices.

Collaborate alongside the VP of Operations on existing workflows in order to implement effective solutions to optimize operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.

Gather and analyze data to inform improvement strategies.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to facilitate changes and monitor outcomes.

Conduct post-implementation reviews to assess the effectiveness of changes and identify areas for improvement.

Maintain comprehensive change management documentation, including change requests, impact assessments, implementation plans, and post-implementation reports.

Regularly report on progress and impact of improvement initiatives to VP of Operations.

Work with counterparts from other regions to create a cohesive and collaborative training team.

Support training sessions and communication strategy for staff on new processes and system updates.

Stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends to identify potential opportunities.
What you will need for success

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Minimum of five to seven years of experience in the field

Proven experience in IT management, preferably within the insurance industry.

Change management expertise and the ability to foster a culture of continuous improvement.

Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Ability to think strategically and solve complex problems.

Strong project management skills and the ability to prioritize tasks.

Fully bilingual both English and Spanish
