Job Description

We're looking for a Information Assurance Toolsmith (Platform IA – Cloud) expert to work at Wright Patterson AFB in Dayton, Ohio. The scope of this work supports the United States Air Force, providing the program with a broad range of professional services in Information Assurance.

Essential Job Responsibilities

Using your knowledge of Information Assurance, and experience on Do D ACAT I or equivalent development programs you will provide:

Evaluation of system security and information assurance requirements consistent with the Intelligence Community Directive (ICD) 503 (replaces Director of Central Intelligence Directive (DCID) 6/3), including
- Joint SAP Implementation Guide (JSIG) (replaces Joint Air Force, Army
- Navy (JAFAN) 6/3)
- Committee for National Security Systems (CNSS) Instruction 1253
- Department of Defense Instruction (Do DI) 8510.01
- National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) 800-53
Additionally, you'll be responsible for reviewing, analyzing ,and assessing aircraft systems configurations/architectures to identify security, safety, and mission-critical functions/components and critical program information (CPI) and be an application administrator for Jira and Confluence

Minimum Qualifications

A minimum three (3) years of relevant Do D IA experience and a technical Bachelors degree from an accredited university.
Five (5) years of relevant Do D IA experience can be used to substitute for a technical Associates
One (1) of these relevant IA experience years must be within a recognized ACAT I (or equivalent) program
One (1) year on a Special Access Program.
TS/SCI clearance
Must have a Do D 8570 Information Assurance Management (IAM) Level I (Security+) or equivalent certifications.
Must have Information Assurance knowledge and experience on Do D ACAT I or equivalent development programs to include evaluating system security and information assurance requirements consistent with the Intelligence Community Directive (ICD) 503 (replaces Director of Central Intelligence Directive (DCID) 6/3)

Knowledge of:

Joint SAP Implementation Guide (JSIG) (replaces Joint Air Force, Army

Committee for National Security Systems (CNSS) Instruction 1253

Department of Defense Instruction (Do DI) 8510.01

National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) 800-53

Reviewing, analyzing, and assessing aircraft systems configurations/architectures to identify security, safety, and mission-critical functions/components and critical program information (CPI)

Expertise in the Atlassian tool suite (especially Jira and Confluence)

Experience as a Trusted Agent

System privileged user

Application administrator for Jira and Confluence

A working knowledge of data analytic methods including experience with Python and Scikit-learn are preferred.
