Ice Cream Server
Overview
We are seeking a passionate and detail-oriented Ice Cream Maker to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for making delicious ice cream flavors and products, serving customers while ensuring that all food safety and quality standards are met. Also, maintaining the machines' cleanliness as well. You will work in a fast-paced environment, collaborating with fellow team members to deliver exceptional products to our customers.
Duties
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
Expected hours: 35 – 40 per week

Duties
- Prepare and mix ingredients according to established recipes for various ice cream flavors.
- Maintain and operate ice cream machines and equipment safely and efficiently.
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain a clean working environment.
- Conduct regular quality checks on ice cream products to ensure consistency and taste.
- Assist in the training of new staff on food preparation techniques and equipment operation.
- Manage inventory of ingredients and supplies, placing orders as necessary.
- Provide excellent customer service by assisting customers with their selections and answering any questions they may have about our products.
- Support the team in bussing tables and maintaining cleanliness in the service area.
- Previous experience in the food industry, particularly in food service or culinary roles, is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of food safety practices and food handling procedures.
- Basic math skills for measuring ingredients accurately.
- Familiarity with POS systems for processing customer orders is a plus.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills and a friendly demeanor when interacting with customers and team members.
- A passion for creating high-quality food products and a willingness to learn new techniques in ice cream making.
