Team Lead, Norwood Ice Cream and Candy Company
We are looking for a Team Leader/Asst Manager to help run a local and established ice cream retail business. We are seeking a creative, responsible, detail oriented and motivated individual to join our team. TO QUALIFY
* Culinary experience or training (1 year). A focus on baking a plus!
* Retail or customer service is required (1 year min)
* Serv Safe Manager Certificate, a plus, but not required.
* Basic math and computer skills
* Familiarity with social media platforms
* Ability to lift 20 lbs
* A natural problem solver who is able to be flexible and adapt in any situation, while maintaining a positive attitude
* Open availability - willing to work days/ nights/ weekends (as needed to help support catering and events).
RESPONSIBILITIES
*Competitive pay - $18.00-$20.00 per hour, depending on experience.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Oversee daily operations of the ice cream and candy shop, ensuring high standards of food service and customer satisfaction.
- Make creative ice creams using commerical ice cream manufacturing equipment.
- Supervise staff in food preparation, service techniques, and safety protocols.
- Manage inventory control, including ordering supplies and maintaining stock levels.
- Utilize POS systems for cash handling and sales reporting, ensuring accurate transactions.
- Foster a positive team environment through effective communication and leadership.
*Competitive pay - $18.00-$20.00 per hour, depending on experience.
