Hydrovac Operator
Overview
We are seeking Class B CDL skilled and dedicated Hydrovac Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical aptitude and experience in operating heavy equipment. As a Hydrovac Operator, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently operating hydrovac trucks to excavate and expose underground utilities while adhering to all safety protocols and regulations.
Duties
Pay: $30.00 - $42.00 per hour

We are seeking Class B CDL skilled and dedicated Hydrovac Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical aptitude and experience in operating heavy equipment. As a Hydrovac Operator, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently operating hydrovac trucks to excavate and expose underground utilities while adhering to all safety protocols and regulations.
Duties
- Operate hydrovac trucks to perform excavation tasks, ensuring precision and safety.
- Conduct pre-trip inspections of equipment to ensure proper functioning.
- Maintain equipment cleanliness and perform routine maintenance as needed.
- Collaborate with team members to plan excavation projects effectively.
- Utilize mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot and resolve minor equipment maintenance. Experience
- Proven experience in operating heavy equipment, including but not limited to hydrovac trucks, backhoes, bulldozers, graders, and tankers.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to perform basic maintenance on equipment.
- Familiarity with horizontal drilling techniques is a plus.
- Experience working in construction or utility sectors is preferred.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- A valid driver's license is required; additional certifications related to heavy equipment operation are advantageous.
Pay: $30.00 - $42.00 per hour
Schedule:
- Home daily
- Monday to Friday
- Overtime
- Weekends as needed
