JOB PURPOSE/REASON: To perform a variety of complex technical and administrative duties relating to recruiting, hiring and processing of Teacher and Classified employees for the District. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: EXPERIENCE & TRAINING: Candidates must have 3 years of data entry or secretarial work experience OR a BA/BS degree in Human Resources or Business (degree in lieu of work experience). PRIMARY POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES: 1. Reviews and posts jobs for all teacher and classified positions. 2. Receives and reviews online applications for the positions noted in #1. . 3. Processes paperwork and takes necessary actions relating to hiring, transferring and changes for employees. 4. Computes salary information for new employees or current employees when changes are needed (transfers, reassignments or promotions, certification changes, etc). 5. Processes all Employee Services Forms for employees in assigned schools/departments. 6. Keys in information for new hires, transfers, changes and any other miscellaneous changes for employees. 7. Inputs data and/or submits all documents to appropriate department for related changes. 8. Uses Docu Ware to transfer employee personnel data for creation of the electronic personnel file. 9 Maintains excellent communication with internal and external customers. 10. Maintains knowledge of school district policies and procedures to provide requested information and perform assigned duties. 11. Interacts with CCSD staff and the general public (in person, by telephone, or email) and often handles difficult situations; and 12. Receives calls and emails from applicants and employees and responds to their questions and requests. Job Type: Full-time Pay: $35,673.00 - $65,395.00 per year Benefits:
