POSITION OVERVIEW Full Time / On-Site The Human Resources Manager is an integral part of the leadership team, providing strategy to the HR functions of the business (strategic planning, recruiting, onboarding, benefits administration, performance management, learning and development, and compliance). The ideal candidate should be an innovator, initiator, technologically savvy, and a change champion. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Oversee the human resources department and its functionalities to include recruiting, onboarding, benefits, training, performance management, compliance, and employee relations
Coordinate recruiting efforts, interview candidates, create offer letters, and facilitate the onboarding process
Oversee company benefits and annual open enrollment process
Oversee company training and professional development
Facilitate the performance management process
Create, implement, and maintain policies, procedures, and best practices in compliance with federal and state regulations
Update and maintain the Employee Handbook
Point of contact for all employee relations to include but not limited to confidential discussions, thorough investigations, and prompt resolutions
Maintain visibility in the field at the project sites; be accessible to employees
Remain current in human resources industry trends
Mentor, coach, and train direct reports and provide ongoing performance feedback for professional and personal development
Exhibit confidentiality with executive, employee, and company information
Ability to communicate professionally with executives, internal departments, staff, site teams, clients, subcontractors, vendors, carriers, and candidates
Perform other job duties as assigned
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s degree in human resources or related field
Minimum of five (5) years of human resources experience
Proficient in English and Spanish (verbal and written)
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with senior management, company departments, project teams, clients, subcontractors, vendors, and carriers
Exceptional organizational skills and ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
Self-start, strong work ethic, and a team player
Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise extreme discretion
