The Role: The Human Resources Associate is responsible for providing comprehensive support in the day-to-day operations of human resources, including the recruitment processes, employee benefits administration, onboarding and offboarding, employee engagement, payroll support, and overall general administration. Responsibilities:
Submit and manage requests for new-employee background checks.
Manage new hire orientation including completing I-9, verifies documentation, and maintaining I-9 files.
Assist with processing of employee departures, including exit interviews, notification to IT to remove system access, and obtaining Bank property.
Assist in payroll processing through verifying data and any changes on a biweekly basis.
Further enhance our employee-centric workplace, identify training and development needed, incorporate employee feedback into company culture, and formalize a recognition program.
Assist with the performance review process.
Reconcile benefits, invoices, and statements.
Conduct audits of payroll, benefits, or other HR programs.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date human resource files, records, and documentation.
Answer frequently asked questions from applicants and employees relative to standard policies, benefits, hiring processes, etc.
Maintain the integrity and confidentiality of human resource files and records.Promoting diversity and inclusion.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
At least two years previous experience in Human Resources, recruiting, or other related fields.
Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
Working understanding of human resource principles, practices, and procedures.
Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to manage sensitive and confidential situations with tact, professionalism, and diplomacy.
Exceptional verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong organizational skills.
Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
Proficient in the use of HRIS and MS Office Suite applications.
The hiring range for this position is $75,000 to $85,000 per year. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate's job-related knowledge, skills, and experience, among other factors. A bonus and/or incentives may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, dental, vision, 401k, and other benefits.
