JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Strip rooms when necessary
Transports dirty linen from guest floors to centralized laundry location
Transports clean linen from centralized laundry location to linen closets and housekeeping carts
Retrieves needed guest room supplies for room attendants
Counts and takes inventory of linen closets
Removes carts of soiled linen and trash from floors
Empties carts of soiled linen and disposes of trash
Delivers items to rooms upon request and assists in cleaning guest rooms as needed
Walk guest floors and empty trash
Fold terry in laundry room
Cleans and maintains all hotel public areas, including restrooms, hallways, and stairwells to meet quality standards
Cleans bathrooms, dusts furniture and pictures, and vacuums, sweeps, and mops floors
Cleans and maintain kitchen and bar areas
Maintains lobby, elevators, stairways, hallways, and Front Desk area to assure they are clean, neat and free of all rubbish and debris
Cleans and maintains public restrooms in a neat and orderly fashion to provide fresh and attractive facilities for guests
Restrooms must be inspected once per hour to assure they remain neat and clean
Removes spots, insects and debris, polishes fixtures and cleans ashtrays
Delivers items to rooms upon request and assists in cleaning guest rooms as needed
Removes snow and debris from exterior of building including sidewalks, drains, entrances and emergency exits of building.
Greets guests in a warm and authentic fashion
Adherence to the attendance policy and procedures
Other duties as assigned
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
High School Diploma/GED
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
Ability to multi-task
Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing
Team player
Ability to exceed expectations of guests
Knowledge of cleanliness standards

Prolonged periods standing and walking and frequently pulling, pushing, and bending.
Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
Willingness to work a rotation seven-day work cycle with occasional afternoon shifts.
