The House Supervisor will provide leadership and role modeling for assigned staff, supervise direct patient care, nursing management, assessments and crisis management. The House Supervisor ensures environmental safety for the patient population and will provide training and education to staff, patients and families. The House Supervisor opportunity is a full-time (40 hours per week) position. The hours for the House Supervisor position will 8am - 6:30pm - Tuesday through Friday. This position offers full-time benefits and will be eligible for a Registered Nurse Retention Bonus! The Retention Bonus is being offered to full-time RNs only. Bonus Structure:

QUALIFICATIONS: Education/Training:
Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
Experience:
One-year inpatient psychiatric experience with adults, adolescents and/or children preferred.
One year of progressive experience in management and/or supervision.
Licensure/Certification:
Current North Carolina State Registered Nurse License
Current North Carolina Driver’s License
Current CPR Certification
CPI Certification
Knowledge and Skills:
Knowledge of appropriate nursing assessment, diagnoses, & interventions with patients.
Knowledge of milieu management.
Ability to direct subordinates in the performance of their duties.
Ability to accurately administer medication and monitor side-effects.
Ability to safely implement treatment procedures.
Ability to develop therapeutic relationships with patients and families
Skill in preparing and maintaining appropriate medical record documentation
