GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF POSITION Works under the direct supervision of the ICF/IID Administrator, is responsible for supervision of the Life Skills Instructors (LSI) staff in regards to ICF/IID regulations in programming instructions and household maintenance programs. Is responsible for LSI staff scheduling. MONDAY-FRIDAY, 8:00AM-4:00PM ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Hires and supervises the household (LSI) staff to insure that the facility is in compliance with all ICF/IID state and federal regulations regarding living unit staff, housekeeping and maintenance.
Responsible for completion and processing of the "New Hire Packet" and employee insurance information.
Manages and supervises client's active treatment programs in accordance with their individual program plan (IPP), and demonstrates the skills and techniques necessary to implement the IPP.
Is responsible for program data collection and program training instruction as outline in the IPP.
Is responsible for the completion of all household forms and reports.
Is responsible for reviewing and maintaining attendance records regarding the LSI staff.
Is responsible for contacting substitutes and maintaining staff schedule in accordance with OLTC and Pathfinder policy.
Attends meetings and training sessions as directed.
Assists ICF/IID Administrator as needed to coordinate and implement facility wide programs, in-services, training, etc.
May coordinate and chair IPP meetings for clients as requested by the ICF/IID Administrator.
Observes clients, monitors, and reports on going quality of service provided to clients by LSI staff as requested by the ICF/IID Administrator.
Reports all allegations of abuse to the ICF/IID Administrator per Pathfinder policy and procedures.
If an LPN: Supervises and coordinates med-pass nurses to include self medication programs, ordering /receiving medications, and other documentation required by ICF/IID regulations in regard to the client's medication program.
If a QDDP (Qualified Developmental Disabilities Professional, QMRP) will assist the ICF/IID Administrator in developing and monitoring active treatment programs for the clients.
Perform any other related duties as required or assigned.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE HS Diploma/GED plus 2 years related experience and/or training, and 1 to 6 months related management experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience. REQUIRED CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS Current Driver's License, auto liability insurance and registration and able to be insured on Pathfinder vehicle.
