As a General Manager (GM) at Nofar Hotel Group, you play a critical role in the success of the hotel. You are responsible for the day-to-day operations and future success of the property. You will assist front-line employees in delivering exceptional service and maintaining high product standards while overseeing all departments. Working on behalf of ownership, you will ensure fiscal success and operational efficiency. Key Responsibilities:
Lead department managers and staff in living out the company’s mission and adhering to policies and procedures. Implement new programs to meet brand and company standards, ensuring clear and consistent communication in alignment with Nofar Hotel Group’s tone and communication platforms.
Demonstrate strong time management, self-motivation, and organizational skills, with a keen eye for detail. Adapt seamlessly to staffing gaps, stepping in to fill shifts when necessary.
Serve as the liaison between the brand and hotel company, leading the hotel to meet brand and NHG standards. Ensure all guest issues are handled swiftly and satisfactorily as part of the service recovery program.
Oversee the financial performance of the hotel, collaborating with the sales team to set and achieve goals. Ensure STAR report goals are met and that sales activities contribute to the hotel’s success.
Ensure readiness for brand audits, both financial and operational, and maintain compliance with all licenses and certificates required by the brand, company, and local, state, and federal regulations.
Represent the company’s leadership team, upholding the organization’s expectations for presentation, communication, and adherence to policies and procedures.
Learn and implement digital sales systems and processes (e.g., Slack, PMS) to support sales strategies (e.g., rates, fees, and budget goals). Use these tools to achieve team and individual goals.
Participate in all necessary internal meetings, training, reporting, and communication activities required for the role.
Foster a collaborative and unified team environment that encourages teamwork and entrepreneurial decision-making to achieve hotel goals.
