Summary:
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Fits and assembles involved parts and components to build various types of equipment/controls.
- Installs wiring and final electronic components.
- Works from samples and verbal instructions.
- Performs testing as required.
- Work is usually short cycle and repetitive.
- Reports materials, equipment or process problems to supervisor.
- Perform any variety of operations within the department to maintain workflow.
- Keep work area in a clean and orderly condition.
- Follow prescribed safety rules and regulations.
- Perform other similar or related duties as required or directed.
- Other duties may be assigned.
Required Qualifications:
Education/Experience:
Less than high school education; or up to one-month related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Physical Demands:
The employee must regularly lift and /or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include Close vision and Depth perception. While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to stand and sit and have the ability to stretch and reach with hands, arms and fingers. The employee is frequently required to walk; sit, talk and hear. The employee is occasionally required to stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.

The ideal candidate should have strong communication skills, particularly in English. While Spanish language skills are a plus, they are not mandatory for this position. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
Reasoning Ability:
