We are seeking motivated candidates who will be responsible for maintaining and accounting for ordering, receipt, storage, issuance of parts and supplies, stocking and inventorying materials, supplies, and equipment for the City; receiving and verifying orders; arranging inventory in organized approach; loading and unloading shipments; and performing the necessary records and reports for the warehousing function.

Minimum Requirements:
Graduation from an accredited college with an Associate’s Degree in supply management, business, accounting, logistics or related field; and experience in purchasing and warehousing in an automated environment; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Must have a valid NC Driver’s License and good driving record.
Must be proficient in Microsoft Office, including Excel and Outlook.
Through knowledge of parts procurement for automotive and equipment.
Experience with inventory control.
Accounting procedures related to parts procurement, inventory and distribution.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Possession of or ability to obtain a CDL with passenger and tanker endorsements.
Closing Date: November 19, 2024
Salary range: $42647.18 - $58213.40 Depending on Experience
$2,000.00 sign-on bonus to be paid as a lump sum after completion of 90 days.
