The Interview Process:
The initial two stages are on-demand, including a text and recorded video. You should be able to complete both steps within a 30-minute timeframe. These steps serve as an introduction, allowing us to learn more about you in a flexible and convenient manner.
Upon successful completion of the initial stages, you will be invited for a 30-minute phone interview with one of Ferguson's Early Career Recruiters. Finally, for candidates who continue to advance through the process, an invitation will be extended to participate in our final round of interviews. During this phase, you will have the opportunity for one-on-one interviews with two of our sales leaders. These interviews may be conducted either in person or virtually.

Join our Sales Leadership Program, starting June 16, 2025! Ferguson's Sales Leadership Program is a 2-year rotational learning program, providing exposure to our various customer groups (residential and non-residential) through on-the-job training, networking, coaching, and structured development. On-the-job learning experiences will include training in areas such as our warehouse, counter, and sales functions. You will also develop key skills in business awareness, relationship building, collaboration, consultation, inclusion, and the development of self and others Training locations include:
Chantilly, VA
Tampa, FL
Houston, TX
Denver, CO
Baltimore, MD
Atlanta, GA
Phoenix, AZ
Upon completion of the program, program graduates will be placed in a front-line sales manager role. These roles include, but are not limited to, titles such as Branch Manager or Sales Team Manager. Relocation and placement will vary across Ferguson's 1400+ US based locations.
What you need to succeed:
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university
Prior leadership experience preferred
A passion for learning about the wholesale distribution industry
Ability to build long lasting relationships
Solution-oriented mindset to solve for our business and customer needs
Preparedness to work in a rapidly changing and diverse environment
Company benefits and associate programs:
Competitive salary with bonus plan. Annualized compensation starts at $58,000-$66,700 and is based on geographic placement.
