Family Care Expert & Babysitter

We’re Hiring: Nannies & Sitters (2-3 Days Weekday Availability + Weekend Shifts Available)
We’re looking for intelligent, capable nannies and babysitters to help families balance work and family life. If you have 2-3 days of weekday availability and are open to weekend work during the day, we want to hear from you!
At TLC for Kids, we provide our caregivers with professional, hands-on childcare training to ensure the growth and well-being of the children they care for, helping families in Charlotte and the surrounding areas thrive.
Compensation and Benefits:

Competitive Pay: $17 per hour
Bonuses: Occasional bonuses and travel incentives

Overtime: Time and a half for hours over 40 per week
Holiday Pay: For most nationally observed holidays
Paid Time Off: Earn 1 hour of PTO for every 30 hours worked

401-K: Matching after 1 year of employment and 1000 hours worked

Schedule:

Availability: 2-5 days during the week (Monday-Friday)
TIME: 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM

Requirements:

Age: At least 18 years old
Must be willing to work with both children and adult
Communication: Excellent texting skills for updates and availability
Experience: Minimum of 1 year in caregiving, babysitting, nannying, or daycare; 2 childcare references required
License: Valid driver’s license and vehicle
Commitment: Minimum 3 months

Responsibilities:

Provide attentive and nurturing care for children in a daycare or educational setting.
Implement engaging and age-appropriate activities to promote learning and development.
Utilize effective communication skills to interact with children, parents, and colleagues.
Ensure the safety and well-being of all children under your supervision.
Utilize your experience with children to create a positive and supportive environment.
Collaborate with other childcare professionals to maintain a cohesive and enriching program.

If Hired:

Work Status: Legal work status in the US
Certification: Child, Infant & Adult CPR and First Aid certification before employment
Orientation: Complete an online orientation

Get Matched: TLC assigns shifts based on your availability, experience, and preferences
Work Your Shift: Shifts vary in length and timing; if a shift is under 4 hours, you will still be paid for 4 hours
Work in Multiple Family Homes: You’ll work for a variety of wonderful families throughout the week.
