Property Overview
A classic New England Inn with contemporary American Restaurant and Tavern offering creative food and beverage options for Lunch and Dinner Tuesday through Sunday. Guests looking for a quick snack with drinks, or dinner will feel welcome. The design will promote a comfortable and inviting atmosphere featuring a modern twist on a classic New England tavern aesthetic. Staff will be hospitality professionals with either restaurant or hotel experience and will know that our primary goal is guest satisfaction. We offer simple elegance with an exciting new feel.
Position Overview
To exceed guests expectations while ensuring efficient and quick service. Maintaining the flow of orders from serving staff to the kitchen to guests, Ensuring orders are completed efficiently and correctly and in a timely manner.
Ideal candidate will be a self-starter with 2 years hotel/restaurant experience.

Must have knowledge of hours and menu items. (Multiple menus during different hours)
Learn and retain, then have confidence in presenting all food and beverage products as well as menu and allergy information.
Must have complete knowledge of various dining spaces, floorplans, and seat numbers.
Must have excellent time management skills and are able to maintain focus during high volume times.
Must maintain a clean workspace and keep all stations stocked.
Must keep all tickets organized and be attentive to the ticket machine to ensure food does not sit in the window.
Ensure that food is delivered to the correct table and seat numbers.
Maintain communication with line to ensure no tickets are lost or delayed. If a problem arises that must be properly communicated.
Responsible for setting up expo line and completing various side work tasks.
Assist other associates with tasks when needed
Notify supervisor when inventory is low on paper, chemical, and food goods.
Responsible for ensuring all breakdown procedures are completed, some of which are, putting clean dishes away, taking out trash and recycling, sweeping, and breakdown of expo line.
Exposure to extreme temperatures as well as outdoor elements.
Ensuring communication in the kitchen by calling out orders, getting the status on dishes, and calling the waitstaff to serve completed dishes.
Informing the waitstaff when certain dishes or ingredients have run out and passing food requests from the waitstaff to the kitchen.
Assisting all staff as needed.

Qualifications

Must be able to stand for 8 hours and lift up to 50 pounds.
Passion for hospitality and guest service.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment providing courteous service and engaging guests in conversation.
Nights and weekends required.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
