About The Opportunity
Prepares cost estimates by analyzing design specifications and labor requirements.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
Prepares work to be estimated by gathering project specifications, prints, and related documents.
Analyzing prints and project details
Managing project lists and vendor requests
Inputting labor and material costs into database and/or excel
Present estimates to management and other stakeholders
Continually review work instructions and manuals Other duties as assigned
Education/Certification
Level Required
High School Diploma / GED
Level Desired
Associate’s Degree
Business and/or Engineering
Work Experience
Required
- 1 – 3 years design experience
- 1 – 3 years cost estimating experience
Desired
- Estimating experience
Additional Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Manufacturing environment experience Proficient with Microsoft Office Ability to read and interpret technical documents Strong communication skills with multiple departments Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail Strong organization and time management skills.
Travel Requirements
- 5% travel to other ORBIS locations
- Possible travel to customer locations as needed
