This is an entry-level, Commercial Property and Casualty, endorsement underwriting position within the Western Underwriting Center (WUC). The endorsement underwriter position is responsible for underwriting endorsement requests for our US territories and responding to general service inquiries from an assigned portfolio of business.
Major Responsibilities:
- Underwrite all endorsement requests emanating from the producers.
- Timely adherence to both corporate and local workflows and business strategies.
- Timely response to producer inquiries relative to endorsement and service inquiries.
Adhere to jurisdictional compliance documentation standards and ensure all underwriting documentation is complete.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, with a focus on Teams, Word, and Excel.
- PC navigation skills, including knowledge of Windows operating systems and the Internet.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Demonstrate strong organizational skills.
- Ability to meet or exceed established performance standards.
- Excellent verbal and written skills as well as mathematical aptitude.
- Demonstrate critical thinking skills, and confident decision-making and judgment abilities.

Education and Experience:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
College degree and/or Property/Casualty experience preferred.
100% full-time, hybrid (in office 3 days/at home 2 days every week), position/non-exempt.
