Job Description: Networking, Telecom, CCTV, and Alarm Technician
Position Overview:
Endeavor Telecomm is seeking skilled technicians with expertise in networking, telecommunications, CCTV, and alarm systems. As a subcontractor, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting various systems in commercial environments. This role requires a reliable vehicle and the necessary tools to perform cable installations and other technical tasks.
Key Responsibilities:

Install, configure, and maintain Local Area Networks (LANs) and Wide Area Networks (WANs).
Set up and troubleshoot voice services and data networking technologies.
Perform installations and maintenance of CCTV systems, including cameras and recording equipment.
Install and service alarm systems, ensuring they meet safety and operational standards.
Respond to and resolve alarm trouble tickets promptly.
Collaborate with the Network Operations Center (NOC) to address any technical issues or questions.
Use the provided mobile app to schedule work, view available tasks, and complete dispatches.
Maintain accurate records of work performed and ensure compliance with company standards.

Qualifications:

Proven experience in networking, telecommunications, CCTV, and alarm systems.
Strong understanding of data networking technologies and voice services.
Reliable vehicle and standard set of tools and materials for installations.
Ability to pass a Cabling, CCTV or Alarm Assessment.
Compliance with Endeavor’s insurance requirements.
Meet state licensing requirements for alarm installations.
Certifications such as CCNP and CCNA are required.

Schedules vary depending on the scope of work or the types of tickets. Examples:

High-priority tickets may require immediate attention and could lead to extended hours or shifts.
Routine maintenance tasks may be scheduled during regular business hours.
Project-based work may have flexible hours depending on deadlines and milestones.
