Life Soure is hiring an EMR Application Analyst to be responsible for the technical support and configuration of Life Source’s EMR (Electronic Medical Records) application. They will act as the liaison with designated department functional owners, application vendors, educators and clinical team members regarding application upgrades, service requests, reporting, and optimization. The EMR Application Analyst works closely with the IT infrastructure team to maintain, optimize, and support the application system environment.
As an EMR Application Analyst, you'll advance our lifesaving mission by performing the following duties: Providing technical product functionality, design, build, and testing expertise for EMR application to include:
Translate business requirements into functional specifications for system updates or changes or business intelligence needs.
Prioritize, coordinate, and implement updates and requested changes to the system; review and test each new release; troubleshoot problems and questions from end users.
Understand system configuration set ups and execute changes as needed/requested, following technical change management protocols.
Support operational data/report requests.
Participate in validation and testing sessions and ensure appropriate documentation, follow-up and issue escalation occurs.
Review, analyze, and evaluate system needs to develop recommendations for customers.
Develop, support and maintain all required system design and build documents and other system/configuration documentation.
Maintain current knowledge of industry and business trends through communication with professional organizations, suppliers, customers, competitors, and other informed individuals.
WORK SCHEDULE:
Primarily Monday-Friday during business hours of 8am-5pm.
Hybrid on-site in Minneapolis
Participates in On-Call rotation that responds to high priority general IT issues during non-business hours.
