Application Analyst

Job Title: Application Analyst

Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Application Analyst to support the installation, configuration, and ongoing maintenance of business-critical applications. The position will primarily focus implementation and support of armored car management software. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in SQL Reporting and be capable of working independently to troubleshoot, analyze, and resolve application-related issues. This role involves close collaboration stakeholders and end-users to ensure optimal performance and continuous improvement of our applications.
Key Responsibilities:

Support the deployment, configuration, and installation of applications and ensure their successful integration into existing systems.
Monitor and maintain application functionality and performance, including regular updates and patches.
Act as the primary point of contact for troubleshooting application issues, performing root cause analysis, and implementing solutions.
Develop and maintain SQL reports to support business needs and enhance reporting capabilities.
Create and maintain documentation on application configurations, procedures, and support activities.
Collaborate with IT teams and business units to identify, evaluate, and implement enhancements to improve application performance and user experience.
Conduct training sessions and provide technical support to end-users as needed.
Ensure compliance with company policies, security standards, and best practices.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
Proven experience as an Application Analyst or in a similar role with hands-on application support.
Strong knowledge of SQL and experience with SQL Reporting for business insights.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and take ownership of assigned tasks.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication skills to effectively work with both technical and non-technical teams.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with specific applications relevant to [Industry/Company's business, if applicable].
Knowledge of application security best practices.
Familiarity with scripting languages or other programming skills for application automation (a plus).
