Currently, we are partnered with a premier aerospace and defense contractor in Salt Lake City in search of a highly talented Director of Program Finance to drive strategic financial leadership for their Broadband Communications Systems Sector.

Job Summary:

You will serve as a key strategic finance leader, providing financial guidance, strategy development, and business management expertise. As the finance team leader, you'll drive profit-generating initiatives and working capital improvements while partnering with program leaders to ensure strong financial performance across a complex portfolio.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

• Lead financial strategy and guidance for a major business sector
• Drive working capital initiatives and achieve AOP/SP commitments
• Partner with Program leaders to assess EAC, risks, and opportunities
• Review and approve 20+ proposals weekly across Business Areas
• Manage and develop a high-performing finance team
• Ensure accurate and timely FP&A deliverables and financial communications
• Lead finance transformation initiatives and process improvements
• Evaluate complex proposal cost/pricing data for accuracy and strategic alignment

Qualifications:

• Demonstrated experience in defense/aerospace financial leadership
• Track record of managing complex program portfolios
• Background in earned value management and program controls
• Experience with government contracting and FAR regulations
• Strong business acumen and strategic planning capabilities
• Excellence in stakeholder communication and team leadership
