DIR PATIENT ACCESS
POSITION SUMMARY
Reporting directly to the Senior Director of Revenue Cycle Operations, the Director of Patient Access is responsible for overseeing the development, organization, and management of the Patient Access Department, including Health Information Management (HIM) and prior authorization services emphasizing the overall patient experience and positive financial outcomes. Manages direct supervisor(s) and team lead(s). Demonstrates behaviors outlined in BMH’s Core Values and supports BMH’s Mission and Vision. This role ensures the efficient processing of patient information, compliance with healthcare regulations, and the delivery of high-quality patient services.
QUALIFICATION

EDUCATION:
-
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Management or another related field. A combination of equivalent education, experience and training will be considered.

EXPERIENCE/SKILL SETS:
-
- Minimum of three years of experience as a Registration Supervisor or Team Lead and knowledge of healthcare regulations and complaince standards.

LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION(S):
-
- Certified Revenue Cycle Representative (CRCR) preferred.

- Certified Healthcare Access Mananger (CHAM) preferred.

- Certified Healthcare Access Associate (CHAA) preferred.
