Job Title: Diagnostic Technologist
Job Summary:
We are currently seeking a skilled Diagnostic Technologist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing a variety of diagnostic imaging procedures to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of patients. This individual should have a strong understanding of radiographic techniques and equipment, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Responsibilities and Duties:
1. Perform diagnostic imaging procedures, including X-rays, MRIs, CT scans, and ultrasounds.
2. Ensure the accuracy and quality of images produced for diagnosis.
3. Maintain and operate imaging equipment in accordance with safety protocols.
4. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to determine the most effective imaging techniques for each patient.
5. Maintain patient records and ensure patient confidentiality.
6. Keep abreast of new technology and advances in diagnostic imaging.
Qualifications and Skills:
1. Associate's degree in radiologic technology or a related field.
2. Certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
3. State licensure as a diagnostic technologist.
4. Strong attention to detail and ability to follow protocols.
5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
6. Ability to work well in a team environment.
7. Knowledge of radiation safety procedures.
