Duties:
- Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children in the daycare
- Plan and implement age-appropriate activities and curriculum
- Supervise and engage children in educational play and learning experiences
- Assist with mealtime routines, including feeding and cleaning up
- Change diapers and assist with potty training as needed
- Communicate with parents about their child's daily activities and progress
- Maintain a clean and organized classroom environment
- Follow daycare policies and procedures for safety and security
- Collaborate with other daycare staff to ensure the smooth operation of the facility
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in nannying, caregiving, or babysitting is preferred
- Experience working with students or children in an educational setting is a plus
- Strong behavior management skills to handle challenging situations effectively
- Ability to create a positive and inclusive classroom environment
- Excellent communication skills to interact with children, parents, and colleagues
- Patience, empathy, and a genuine love for working with children
- High school diploma or equivalent required; additional early childhood education coursework is a plus
