Daycare Assistant
Sophia's Funhouse Daycare is now hiring dynamic Assistant Teachers for our indoor & outdoor classroom in Elmont, NY.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $16.00 - $16.25 per hour
Expected hours: No more than 30 per week

Some of the responsibilities this role entails include but are not limited to the following:
- Creating and maintaining an environment that is clean and safe for all children
- Carrying out the daily responsibilities of the classroom relating to the care of the children
- Responsible for the safety and well-being of each child, responding to their emotional needs
- Implementing lesson plans/curriculum on a weekly basis covering all areas of child development
- Establishing a professional level of rapport with each family in order to provide quality care for the children
- A High School Diploma required
- A passion for working with preschool-aged children
- A bubbly and warm personality!
