Job Title: CT Technologist

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced CT Technologist to join our medical imaging team. The CT Technologist will perform a variety of technical procedures that require independent judgment, initiative, and ingenuity in performing computerized tomography scans.

Responsibilities and Duties:
1. Perform CT scans in accordance with established protocols.
2. Position patients and adjust immobilization devices to obtain optimum views of specified body areas.
3. Operate computerized tomography equipment to produce cross-sectional images of patient tissues, organs, and bones.
4. Evaluate CT scans for technical quality and ensure images are correctly labeled and processed.
5. Maintain accurate patient records and document any pertinent medical history.
6. Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to discuss images and provide findings.
7. Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations to ensure patient and staff safety.
8. Keep abreast of advancements in CT technology and participate in continuing education to maintain licensure and certifications.

Qualifications and Skills:
1. Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology or related field.
2. ARRT certification in CT imaging.
3. State licensure as a Radiologic Technologist.
4. Minimum of 2 years of experience as a CT Technologist.
5. Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
6. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
7. Knowledge of radiology equipment and techniques.
8. Proficiency in computerized tomography software and technology.
