Title: Community Counseling Program Administrator Classification: Full time; Non-Exempt (32 hours) Location: Orange Reports To: Clinical Director Department: Community Counseling Program Essential Duties include, but not limited to:
Under the direction of the Clinical Director, assist with administration of Mariposa’s Community Counseling Program.
Assist with the recruitment, hiring, and training of student trainees/interns, clinical staff, and clerical support staff.
Work in conjunction with the Clinical Director and Clinical Supervisor Team to ensure that program functions at “best practices” level in compliance with HIPAA.
Assist in the development and implementation of behavioral health program initiatives.
Ensure employees follow all Agency policies and procedures.
Prepare necessary statistical documentation and assist Data Analyst in collection and tracking of data required for grant funding.
Monitor program metrics and prepare reports for submission to Clinical Director in compliance with program deadlines.
Assist in quality assurance activities, including audits, evaluations, and program reviews.
Assist in developing programmatic and administrative improvements in meeting Program Objectives by tracking, quantifying, and analyzing client progress in the Community Counseling Program.
Support compliance with documentation guidelines, service delivery and program performance objectives.
Maintain organized records and database related to program activities.
Monitor and assist with maintenance of the electronic health records system to ensure staff have the support and guidance necessary to perform at best practice level.
Develop and maintain clear, open, timely, cooperative, and diplomatic communications and working relations with all staff and partner agencies.
Participate in staff meetings, in-service training, and other staff development activities.
If qualified, may carry a small caseload.
Perform other duties as assigned by Clinical Director
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & CERTIFICATION 1. Master’s degree preferred or B.A. degree and, or minimum of 3 plus years of experience in mental health setting as a specialist in quality assurance and quality improvement. 2. Advanced knowledge and ability to work with, manipulate, and interpret high volume data (e.g. Excel, Access, software etc.) preferred. SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED TO PERFORM THE ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: 1. Ability to multi-task and prioritize effectively which includes crisis response and a capacity to manage time well. 2. Ability to work independently and with others while maintaining a high level of ethical and professional practice in accordance with agency and community policy. 3. Ability to be flexible and adapt to changing work environment. 4. Excellent written and verbal communication required. 5. Proficient computer skills (Microsoft WORD, Excel and Outlook) and data/electronic records program in use. 6. Minimum 2 years sobriety if recovering alcoholic/drug addict. The salary of the finalist selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to, internal equity, experience, education, specialty, and training.
