The main responsibility of this position is to support carrier sourcing by securing capacity from carriers, providing freight quotes, assisting with general logistics operations, and maintaining relationships with existing carriers. Key duties include:
Responding to customer quote requests online, via email, or by phone.
Reaching out to new carrier companies to establish relationships and negotiate freight transportation terms.
Assisting in procuring capacity for contract loads.
Maintaining and strengthening relationships with preferred carriers
