Seeking an individual who has:

Preferred: Knowledge in logistics and/or brokerage; however, we are willing to train the right individual.
Adaptability and flexibility in a dynamic environment with frequently changing priorities.
Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills, including effective and professional communication both verbally and in writing.
Strong data entry skills with a focus on accuracy and timeliness.
Ability to multi-task, set priorities, and meet deadlines while working independently.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and general computer applications.

Education/ Experience:

Must have a high school diploma or GED.

The main responsibility of this position is to support carrier sourcing by securing capacity from carriers, providing freight quotes, assisting with general logistics operations, and maintaining relationships with existing carriers.
Key duties include:

Responding to customer quote requests online, via email, or by phone.
Reaching out to new carrier companies to establish relationships and negotiate freight transportation terms.
Assisting in procuring capacity for contract loads.
Maintaining and strengthening relationships with preferred carriers
