Position Overview
Restoration 1 of East Alabama is seeking to hire a detail oriented and meticulous carpenter to perform general carpentry work in the repair, maintenance, construction or alteration of floors, doors, windows, drywall setting and finishing, baseboards, trimming, painting, etc... This position will assist with carpentry needs for commercial and residential homes; prepares estimates of time and materials to complete specific tasks; maintains conditions of tools i.e., greasing, oiling, and changing blades. Employee(s) must also be willing to learn mitigation and remediation techniques to become a technician as well.
Job Responsibilities

• Performs general carpentry work in the repair, maintenance, construction or alteration of floors, doors, windows, screens, drywall setting and finishing, baseboards, painting, trimming, etc...
• Works in the carpentry shop.
• Prepares estimates of time and materials to complete specific tasks.
• Maintains condition of tools, i.e., greasing, oiling, and changing blades.
• Instructs helpers in basic trade tasks.
• Performs mitigation work.
• Performs other duties as required or assigned which are reasonably within the scope of duties enumerated above.

Minimum Qualifications

• Requires knowledge, skills, and mental development equivalent to completion of four years of high school.
• Requires 5 years or more as a carpenter, construction and or rebuild professional.

• Assist in warehouse operations as necessary.
• Ability to adapt to the ever-changing work schedule needed to satisfy a customer base and industry that operates 24/7.
• Work nights, weekends, & overtime as required by your supervisor, and be available for on-call or unscheduled shifts when needed to meet customer requirements.
• Represent the company in a professional manner at all times ensuring customer loyalty.
• Abide by all polices, rules, and regulations of the company including all applicable safety rules, regulations and procedures.
• Possess and maintain an unrestricted, valid driver’s license.
