The role of the
Candidate Marketing Coordinator
is to provide support to professional recruiting staff in marketing candidates to current and potential clients. The main responsibilities of this position are to manage and maintain the Professional Services Group’s pool of marketable candidates. Will perform other duties in support of the team as required.
Essential Job Function:
- Lead strategic initiatives for Professional Candidate marketing plans and support implementation.
- Review and analyze job boards and other sources to determine job market needs and trends for candidates.
- Create a proactive plan by Sales Region to market strong candidates.
- Regularly meet with Professional Team to evaluate current job market trends.
- Assist with advertising for marketed candidates – i.e., social media, email campaigns, etc.
- Regular meetings with Marketing leadership on overall candidate marketing strategy.
- Review and Edit Candidate resumes in order to prepare candidates for marketing.
- Create full presentation packet in order to successfully market candidates to current/potential clients.
- Assist with referencing, criminal background checks, facilitate drug testing and education verifications when needed.
- Assist with administering personnel testing tools including the Predictive Index and Wonderlic Personnel Test when needed.
- Assist with job fairs and career events on behalf of HTI and HTI’s clients.
- Other duties as required in support of the team.
Qualifications, Skills, and Abilities:
- Ability to work with a large group and take direction from multiple contacts.
- Ability to monitor a process and communicate discrepancies to individuals and groups.
- Must have strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Must have good written and oral communication skills and the ability to interface with varying levels of people.
Education and Experience:
- Associate’s Degree required; Bachelor’s Degree preferred
- Strong experience with MS Office – particularly MS Word and MS Excel.
- Strong experience with Adobe Acrobat Editor.
- Must be proficient in use of the Internet.
- 1 year of professional experience or intern/co-op experience strong preferred.
