The Brand Specialist is directly responsible for selling new and used vehicles at dealership gross profit, volume, and customer satisfaction standards. The Brand Specialist is expected to uphold the highest ethical and professional standards.
A Brand Specialist must demonstrate an active commitment to the JN Group Holdings Mission and Vision, and to strive to incorporate JN Group Holdings Values1 in all aspects of daily work. We strive to meet our customer’s needs and exceed their expectation at every opportunity.
SUMMARY OF ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
include the following:
  • Sell a minimum number of vehicles, based on goals and objectives defined by the sales manager.
  • Determine each customer’s vehicle needs by asking questions and listening intently, responding to inquiries in a timely fashion and answering inquiries on available stock and product information.
  • Treat every individual calling or visiting as a buyer.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of how to stay off price and focus on value.
  • Know and understand equity and values, and be able to explain depreciation to the customer.
  • Exhibit knowledge of how to overcome objections and close the sale.
  • Keep abreast of incoming vehicle inventory and test drive them to increase familiarity.
  • Understand the terminology of the automobile business and keep abreast of technological changes in the product.
  • Follow up on a consistent basis to make sure prospects are sufficiently informed of our inventory,services and current offers.
  • Schedule appointments with interested buyers for test drives and delivery of vehicles.
  • Demonstrate working knowledge of leasing and financing.
  • Disclose terms of sales with consumers and reviewing sales with dealership management.

  • Adhere strictly to all company rules, polices, and procedures.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality of confidential personal information of our customers in compliance with the Federal Trade Commission Safeguards Rule, implementing the provision of the Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act as they pertain to automobile dealerships.
  • Adhere to all processes to fulfill accurate handling of all customer information.
  • All consultants are required to complete brand accreditation by each manufacturer represented.
  • Follow the Road to the Sale steps from meet and greet to delivery.
  • Represent the company in a professional and positive manner while fulfilling role as a consultant in a customer’s purchase of a vehicle.
  • Arrive to work on time and ready to work immediately.
  • Maintain a professional and business-like standard of dress consistent with the dress-code requirements.
  • Keep work areas and office clean and organized at all times.
MISCELLANEOUS QUALIFICATIONS
  • With team, present recommendations and assist in implementing quality initiatives.
  • Become a brand ambassador by having extensive brand and product knowledge to help cross-sell, up-sell, grow customer relationships and foster loyalty.
  • Create customer and employee interactions that foster positive outcomes.
  • Provide support on any other duties as assigned.

  • Must have a High school diploma or general education degree (GED) equivalent.
  • Must have exceptional customer service and strong communication, verbal and written, skills in order to work most effectively with customers on the phone or email communications.
  • Must have one (1) year experience in sales or front-line customer service position or automotive dealership client-facing position.
  • Must be Internet savvy, have proficient computer skills. A working knowledge of the following applications, but not limited to:
  • ADP
  • CRM web based programs
  • Microsoft Office – Word and Excel * Able to meet deadlines, process all work accurately and respond to changing priorities.
  • Must have a valid Hawaii Motor Vehicle Sales License or able to obtain one.
  • Must have a current driver’s license and an acceptable motor vehicle abstract2.
  • Ability to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.
  • Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
  • Ability to use a computer workstation including keyboard, mouse, printer, fax, and internal phone systems to execute tasks.
  • Operate 10-key calculators.
  • Standard dealership office setting.
  • There are frequent employee and customer contacts and interruptions in person and the telephone during work hours.
  • The physical exertion is moderate.
  • The noise level is moderate to loud at times.
