Dental Assistant/Surgical Assistant at our Brand New Office
Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental/ Surgical Assistant to join our new and beautiful dental practice in Edmond, OK. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our dental team in delivering high-quality services. This position requires a strong understanding of dental and surgical procedures. There is a strong emphasis on implants and implant restorations, with the ability to train on and become proficient with the Yomi Implant robot.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 32 – 40 per week

Duties
- Assist the dentist during various dental and surgical procedures, ensuring a smooth workflow and patient comfort.
- Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment following proper aseptic techniques.
- Take dental radiographs (X-rays) as needed, including CT scans.
- Record patient vital signs and maintain accurate patient records using dental terminology.
- Educate patients on post-operative care instructions.
- Utilize advanced technology such as 3D scanners and 3D printers
- Proficiency in four-handed dentistry techniques to assist the dentist efficiently.
- Experience in IV sedation preferred.
- Surgical experience with extractions and implants
- Strong understanding of dental terminology to communicate effectively with patients and staff.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour
