Locals is an independent gift and home décor retailer with locations in Logan, Layton and Orem and our brand new store in Park City! We offer local artisans and makers an outlet to sell their products and we'd love you to join our team. This is a part-time position averaging 15-25 hours per week and the shifts are only 5 or 6 hours long. Must live within 30 minutes of the store location. Starting wage is commensurate with experience. Duties
Greets customers and answers questions
Handles cash transactions and processes credit cards helping customers use processing equipment
Informs customers about products and sales
Assists in the maintenance of displays
Helps stock shelves
Prepares merchandise for display on the sales floor

Excellent oral communication skills
Able to work independently or as part of a team
Detail oriented and highly observant
Precise accuracy with money counting
Very customer oriented with a good attitude
Ability to prioritize and process multiple tasks simultaneously
Possesses basic math skills

Proven customer service background
