Job Description: We are looking for a detail-oriented Bookkeeper with experience in property management. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, processing transactions, and assisting with financial reporting. This role requires a strong understanding of bookkeeping practices and property management accounting. Key Responsibilities:
Maintain accurate financial records for the apartment complex.
Process accounts payable and receivable, including rent collection and vendor payments.
Reconcile bank statements and ensure accurate cash flow management.
Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
Monitor and manage budgets and expenditures.
Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
Collaborate with property managers to address financial issues and provide financial insights.
Conduct regular audits to ensure financial accuracy and integrity.
Assist with tax filings and coordinate with external auditors as needed.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 2 years of bookkeeping experience, preferably in property management or real estate.
Strong knowledge of bookkeeping principles and regulations.
Proficiency in Entrata if possible or other apartment software
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
