Job Summary
We are seeking a Spanish speaking detail-oriented and organized Bookkeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, processing transactions, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards. This role requires a strong understanding of accounting principles and practices, as well as proficiency in various bookkeeping tasks.
Duties
Perform general ledger reconciliation to ensure accuracy in financial reporting.
Manage accounts receivable and ensure timely invoicing and collections.
Conduct balance sheet reconciliation to verify the integrity of financial statements.
Utilize double-entry bookkeeping methods to maintain accurate financial records.
Assist in budgeting processes and provide support for financial planning.
Execute bank reconciliation to ensure that bank statements align with company records.
Maintain detailed records of all transactions, including debits and credits.
Support governmental accounting requirements as necessary.
Collaborate with other departments to gather necessary financial information and reports.
Notary transactions as needed.
Experience
Proven experience in general ledger accounting and bookkeeping practices.
Familiarity with governmental accounting is a plus but not required.
Strong understanding of debits, credits, and double-entry bookkeeping principles.
Experience with budgeting and financial forecasting is desirable.
Proficiency in using accounting software and tools for efficient record keeping.
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills are essential for success in this role.
