Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Bookkeeper to join our Restaurant Group. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, managing accounts payable and receivable, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards. This role is crucial for the financial health of our organization and requires a strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
Responsibilities
Restaurant 365 a Huge Plus!
Perform general ledger reconciliation to ensure accuracy in financial reporting.
Manage double entry bookkeeping, ensuring all transactions are recorded correctly.
Prepare journal entries and maintain the general ledger accounting system.
Handle accounts payable processes, including invoice verification and payment processing.
Utilize Quick Books and other financial software to manage financial data efficiently.
Assist with governmental accounting requirements as needed.
Collaborate with public accounting firms during audits or reviews.
Generate financial reports and assist in budget preparation as required.
Maintain organized records of all financial transactions for easy retrieval and review.
Experience
Proven experience in bookkeeping or a related field is preferred.
Strong knowledge of general ledger reconciliation, double entry bookkeeping, and journal entries.
Familiarity with governmental accounting practices is a plus.
Proficiency in Restaurant 365 financial software is essential.
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills are required.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Job Type: Full-time Pay: $50,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year Benefits:
