Responsibilities
Assist the painter in all paint procedures
Clean, prep, sand, and mask parts and vehicles to get ready for painting
Covers vehicle parts that do not require painting
Mixes paint according to manufacturer specifications
Buffing and clean up after vehicle is painted
Keep work area clean
Other tasks as assigned
Frequent physical activity (kneeling, bending, squatting, stooping, lifting above shoulders, as well as repetitive tasks involving hand and arm motion and lifting objects over 50 pounds)
Pushing/pulling carts and cars with assistance
Qualifications
Be at least 18 years of age
Have a valid driver’s license
Willing to submit to a pre-employment background check
Applicants may be drug-tested
Note: The working environment consists of exposure to fumes, chemicals, dust, and high levels of noise
