Responsibilities:

Clear understanding of all sales and service aspects of the Beer/Wine Department
Exhibit passion for providing excellent customer service
Receive and stock products using department guidelines for merchandising, rotation, and pricing
Educate our customers about beers and wines and assist them with selections
Follow department procedures for handling new products and price changes
Assist with inventories, special events and other duties as assigned

Requirements

Must be at least 21 years of age
Previous retail and sales experience
Solid knowledge of beers and of wines, as well as current trends
Excellent communication skills and ability to learn quickly
Desire to deliver world class customer service to all guests
Willing to work a flexible schedule to meet the needs of the department

Environment: Work is performed primarily in a grocery store setting with extensive public contact and frequent interruptions.
