Baker Assistant
Overview:
This position aids the head baker by preparing all bakery goods for the display case and packaging. This position is responsible for delivering consistent product quality and meeting daily production needs. Position functions and work hours may vary according to business needs.
Responsibilities:
Monday-Friday (double on Fridays) - weekends and holidays as needed
Pay: $15.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30 – 50 per week

Responsibilities:
- Read and follow recipes
- Measure and scale raw ingredients
- Mix ingredients using designated equipment
- Prepare, roll, cut, and shape donuts and other pastries
- Proof yeast goods as directed
- Operating equipment such as mixers, ovens and fryers
- Fills, starts and cleans fryer properly
- Fry and glaze donuts
- Ensure all donuts are consistently shaped, sized, and cooked to perfection
- Responsible for the organization, cleaning and inventory of work station.
- Other duties as assigned by head baker
- MUST BE ABLE TO WORK EARLY HOURS
- 18 years or older
- Dependable transportation
- Must have a valid driver's license
- Ability to work in all types of weather (when driving)
- Effective listening and communications abilities
- Ability to consistently work early schedules
- Ability to stand for extended periods, up to 8 hours
- Kneeling to clean low areas, inside bakery cases, etc.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to weigh and mix dry and wet goods weighing up to 100 lbs.
- Ability to work in humid or hot environment
- Ability to measure dry and wet ingredients and to perform basic conversions
- Superior attendance and punctuality

- Monday-Thursday: 7am start
- Friday morning - 7am start
- Friday evening - 6pm start
Pay: $15.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30 – 50 per week
